Who The National Young Scholars Program (NYSP) is specifically designed and created for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students with a history of academic achievement, who even at their young age, have demonstrated a high degree of leadership potential. Nominees are personally selected for nomination by a teacher. Teachers who nominate are instructed to select only those students who merit the distinction of a nomination. The National Young Scholars Program also accepts mature and motivated individuals who can meet the challenge of our academic curriculum. Attendees are all outstanding students representing a variety of backgrounds and possessing a broad range of interests and goals, and each contributes to the special strength and character of the Program.
