In addition to the strand of your choice, you'll be participating in The Leadership Strand: Stepping Forward as a Leader. The Leadership Strand is the cornerstone of the NYSP experience. Daily interactive learning activities present scholars with guided practice and individual application in small team settings. The important concepts and skills introduced lay the groundwork for growth and personal development in five key leadership areas: Teambuilding, Character Development, Communication, Problem-Solving and Goal Setting.
